SHIELDS UP IN:
NOW!
RAISE YOUR SHIELD NOW!
The Enemy Buster event has started! If your headquarters is not shielded, you will attract enemies to our hive, invite attacks to steal your hard-earned resources, kill your troops, lower your power level, and imperil our alliance ranking.
Greetings! Each week, State 175 — of which Atomic Elite is a part — participates in the Enemy Buster event. This means opponents from other states can (and do) invade to attack tanks and headquarters, to plunder resources, and score points.
Alliance policy is to RAISE SHIELDS at the time of reset and to stay shielded for 24 hours.
This policy is waived only for players that are engaged in combat against the invaders (either to defend our state or to take the fight into theirs).
If you have any questions, please contact your friendly neighborhood R4 or Remymart15.
Common Questions
What's a Bubble?
A slang word for “Shield”. You’ll also see it used as a verb like “Bubble now” or “Bubble up.”
Where can I get a shield?
Shields are sold in the Alliance Shop or on the Black Market (Items section). Shields are available in 8 hour, 24 hour, and 72 hour increments. Price increases with duration.
What happens if I don't activate a shield during the event?
If you forget to sign in to activate a shield, you’re very likely to come back online to find your headquarters damaged, your resources plundered, and your troops dead. It could take several days (even weeks) to restore what gets lost.
You’ll also have been automatically teleported to the middle of nowhere (a safety feature to protect players from total annihilation) and will need to rejoin the hive when you return. When this happens, it’s called getting “zeroed out.”
And lastly, you’ll be hurting the whole alliance. Our rank, privileges, and rewards in this state depend on the health and status of our members. When you get zeroed out, your losses affect everybody.
Can I still earn points/rewards even if I'm shielded?
Yes! You can earn points by:
- Reinforcing the headquarters of active players in combat (or folks who have left themselves unprotected).
- By deploying your tanks to be attacked. But be careful. If you start a fight, you’ll lose your shield. Wait for the enemy to hit you first.
